Students from 5th to 8th grade / Escuela Isabel Riquelme

As Trama, we designed and led a collective creation process alongside artist Javier Barriga, the Ministry of Education, and Escuela Isabel Riquelme in San Bernardo. We implemented a participatory methodology with students from 5th to 8th grade, generating spaces for reflection and creation around memory, environment, and the future — with their conceptual and visual contributions incorporated directly into the final work.

The project resulted in a mural of high symbolic and community value, but its impact went beyond the artwork itself. Trama's methodology activated new initiatives led by the students themselves and generated lasting positive effects on school coexistence and relationships between participating classes — establishing a model of public art with meaningful educational and social impact.
